High Road funding supported tribal fire practitioner training where workers earned specialized certifications in wildland firefighting, wilderness safety and chainsaw operation, and a related project funds foundational training tied to work experience in forest health and landscape restoration.
Assembly Bill 338 directs a wildfire workforce recovery stream through the same framework, prioritizing sectors hit hardest by the 2025 wildfires.
Like card 52, this is phase two. It rewards an existing partnership with an employer, a training provider and a defined career path, and the District can supply the first of those.
