A corporate giving program supporting fire prevention, preparedness and control by fire departments and brigades and by national, state, regional, local and community organizations. The insurer rebranded from FM Global to FM, and the program page moved with it.

Grants typically average between $1,000 and $3,000. Deadlines fall three times a year, on 31 March, 31 July and 30 November.

Eligible work includes pre-incident planning, fire prevention education and training such as community outreach, workshops and publications, and arson prevention and fire investigation.

The fit for this District is the education and outreach side rather than equipment. Card 12 records that the CWPP community engagement program is almost entirely workshops, canvassing and printed material, and card 56 notes the District has $5,000 budgeted for outreach and no staff to deliver it. A few thousand dollars of printing and workshop costs is exactly this program size.

Small enough to sit in the same effort category as card 60, and worth filing for that reason.
